Customer Review: comfortable, tailored feel
Let me just start out by reminding everyone that American Apparel clothing usually runs about a half size smaller than most other clothing brands. That being said, I am a guy that’s 6′ 189lbs. I have an athletic build but I’m not huge. I received the navy one in medium for christmas and loved it so much that I purchased the green one for st. patrick’s day. This jacket is very flattering on guys with a broad chest/back and muscular arms as it is slightly form-fitting, although I’ve seen guys at almost every fitness level pull it off. My girlfriend loves it when I pair this jacket with jeans, a tailored dress shirt and skinny tie.
Customer Review: good jacket that could be better
The material for this jacket is wonderful, a very soft and lightweight fleece. The look is quite stylish, too. But this jacket, like most American Apparel “unisex” styles is quite long in the torso for women. Also the collar on the jacket is a bit too tall. Fully zipped, the top of the zipper chafes against the bottom of the chin.

Again, this is a little large for the boy, but he loves it. He is only 5 and wants to wear it every day whether it rains or not!, The inner flap at the front where it fastens does a great job of keeping the raim out.

I didnt get the jacket in the color I ordered but they notified me and asked if it was okay to send the color that was available. The jacket works fine so I’m satisfied.

Customer Review: Excellent Rainwear
This jacket is waterproof, light and well made. It has nylon lining with soft shell.

The size of Full Monty runs big. Its S is equivalent to Marmot Oracle’s M.

Besides the number of pockets as the other viewer mentioned, the only complaint I have on this jacket is its length. It’s about 1.5″ - 2″ shorter than Oracle. It puts the back of waist area in risk when you bike in heavy rain. I still give it a 5-star because its price versus performance deserves a perfect 10.
